Bansko is a mountain resort, situated in Southwestern Bulgaria, at the foothills of one of the most beautiful Bulgarian mountains - Pirin, which is a national reserve, included in the World national heritage list. The distance from Sofia to Bansko is 160 km. The town itself attracts visitors by its 120 cultural monuments, its museum-houses and the permanent ethnigraphic and Bansko school of icon painting exhibitions. A very interesting sight is the Holy Trinity Church with its 30 m highbull tower and clock, splendid murals and woodcarvings. The region is famous for its cuisine and colourful folklore and offers various entertainment opportunities.

• The highest track point is 2560 m above the sea level
• The longest possible track combo makes a 16 km downhill race
• 25 km of modern high-capacity lift infrastructure (1 gondola lift, 6 four-seat chair lifts, 1 three-seat chair lift, 3 anchor low lifts, 3 single low lifts and 10 children drag lifts)
• Slalom and giant ski runs are available
• Cross-country track with lenght of 5 km
